Who Are We

KINSEEKERS, formed in 1978, is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational entity as of 11 January 2021.

We are genealogy adventurers, family history hunters, determined archive searchers. We present education programs and provide opportunities to discuss genealogical findings, challenges, and best practices. Whether a beginner, hobbyist, or seasoned researcher, check us out and see what we have to offer.

If you are hesitant to join because you don't have central Florida ancestors, please don't let that stop you. Our members come from all over Florida as well as many other locations throughout the United States.

KINSEEKERS Genealogical Society of Lake County, Florida, is a non-profit. There are benefits to membership. Memberships and donations support our programs and operating costs. Memberships are only $25 per year. (See the "HOW TO JOIN" page for details.)
